Continuing with the intense energy of Rahu in the 8th house, Dr. Sharma reveals its effect on the sleep cycle.
Rahu represents darkness, the night, and the underworld. The 8th house is the deepest, darkest house in the zodiac. When Rahu sits here, the person's biological clock completely flips. They become extreme night owls. Their brain only becomes active after midnight, and they will stay awake until 3 or 4 AM.
Because they sleep so late, they almost never wake up early enough to see the sunrise ("subah tumne kam hi dekhi hogi"). They are literally living in the dark, "baking in the fire" of Rahu's nocturnal energy.
